Why are you waiting to do a TEDx?
The longer you plan, the less likely the thing you are planning will actually happen.
This is my life theory.
If you want to make a big change- in life, in work, in your environment- just decide to do it.
And tell as many people as possible.
If you have already decided to move to Spain, buy a boat, take flying lessons, start a business, then every subsequent decision you make will bring you closer to that reality.
You’ll figure the rest out along the way. Why? Because you HAVE to. You have put yourself in a position where it has to work out, and so you find ways to make it happen.
You are no longer planning, you are executing.
I know from first hand experience that you don’t need to know how to sail to live on a sail boat. Once you’ve bought the boat you’ll be highly motivated to learn to sail ASAFP!
If you are planning to make the move, but 𝑑𝑜𝑛’𝑡 actually make the decision then every 'plan' you make is an exercise in postponing.
When there is no urgency those hurdles slowly become higher and more numerous and the end goal gets further and further away.
You can always pivot, you can reroute, change your mind, do something else. But if you don't even decide then you are forever stuck on the start line.
Deciding is the key. Not the planning.
What have you always wanted to do?
Why don't you just decide to do it. Today.

P.S. if that thing you've always want to do is a TEDx talk, then drop me a line!
