Hi, I’m Tessa
When it comes to TEDx, I know what I’m talking about…
I’ve been producing TEDx events in Europe and the US since 2013.
I’ve coached leaders from across industries and across geographies- everyone from non-profit founders and corporate executives to educators and artists to share their big ideas on the TEDx stage.
Videos of their talks have been viewed over 2.5 million times on YouTube & TED.com, but more importantly finding what they really want to say and the words to say it has allowed them to grow their brand and increase their impact.
I know that a small talk can have a big impact
I founded Resonance because I genuinely believe that anyone can be a powerful public speaker.
In a world where our attention spans are short - being able to articulate who you are, what your big idea is and what you want in a few short minutes is critical. I’ve worked with founders and investors for over 5 years to develop pitches - you don’t need more time to sell your idea, you need more clarity and a better story (and MUCH BETTER SLIDES!)
AI may be able to write your speech, but it can’t stand in front of an audience and make them change their mind or fund your business. If you only have a short time on stage- whether TEDx, pitching or on a panel- the words you choose, and how you deliver them matter.
Your story matters
Your ideas are what people remember, your story is how you make people care.
I lived on a sailboat in the Caribbean for two years with my family. Remote work, homeschool, teenyweeny living space and very little idea how to sail or fix… ANYTHING. It was without doubt the hardest and best thing I have ever done. I write about our adventure and of course public speaking on LinkedIn.
You will find me sharing stories of our adventures around a noisy Scottish dinner table with all the family I now live near after 20years of living abroad, or in the Scottish Highlands or Adirondack High Peaks where I love to hike and lead expeditions.
